Colección: Lavender - Lavande
Lavandula, an aromatic perennial subshrub is endemic to dry and warm climates, thriving in maritime breezes. Extensive selective breeding has brought about cold hardy cultivars now widely cultivated in temperate regions. Lavender is grown as a fragrant ornamental plant, for the extraction of essential oil applied to aromatherapy, skincare and perfume, the flowers and leaves are used for herbal medicine, for sweet and savoury culinary flavouring and for beekeeping to make mono floral honey from the nectar abundant flowers. The potency of lavender increases with drying. This plant prefers poor soils. Lavender will fill your garden with perfume on rainy days. Propagate lavender by germinating seeds or from cuttings.
