Dahlias are planted after the last frost in spring and grow effortlessly to mass produce flowers summer into late fall. Plant in numbers to make an eye catching border. Plant numerous varieties for a magnitude of colours and shapes. Cut often to proliferate blooms. You will be able to harvest cut flowers all the way up to the first frost in autumn.  Breed your own dahlia cultivar by cross pollinating selected flowers and collecting the resulting seeds to grow.
