Golden Sentinel™ Columnar Apple

Developed in Summerland BC in the 1980s the Golden Sentinel™ apple tree is disease resistant and is known for large, sweet, golden yellow apples with a rosy blush on the sunny side that have a natural storage life of four months. The distinctive colonnade shape of the sentinel tree can be maintained by pruning the branches back to 10 to 15 cm stubs every spring.
Harvest in late September.
Hardy down to zone 4.
Needs a pollenizer.
