Improved Meyer Lemon Plant

Citrus × meyeri is a hybrid citrus plant resulting from a cross between a traditional lemon and a mandarin orange. Sweet, thin skinned fruit with a unique, less acidic flavour coming from the crossed varieties and a deep yellow to orange tint when ripe. Juicy and sweet with an edible, aromatic rind. Considered ever bearing, fragrant white blossoms and fruit are produced year-round, with the heaviest harvests typically occurring in winter. More cold hardy than true lemons, surviving temperatures down to roughly 20°F to 32°F, though fruit damage occurs below freezing.
