Red Pontiac Seed Potato

Large and spreading plants with angled stems and large light purple flowers. The potatoes are deep-eyed and round with dark red skin and white waxy flesh. It can be used in recipes for baking, boiling, mashing, roasting or in salads, not so suitable for frying. May be cooked with the skin on. Produces an excellent yield, the strong and upright plants will produce almost anywhere, though can be knobbly if soil moisture is uneven. Produces both large and small potatoes at the same time. Early maturing, summer potato, harvest in 65 to 75 days.
