Adige Medio Chicory

Variegated Luscia-type radicchio with round, loosely filled heads of pale green delicately speckled with pink. Adige Medio thrives in both spring and fall crops, holding firmly in the field without bolting and demonstrating excellent frost tolerance. Pink coloration deepens in cool fall temperatures. Larger than Perseo with heads averaging 350g (12-13oz). Notably mild for a radicchio variety, with a gentle flavor profile comparable to Sugarloaf types.
