Harglow Apricot

Hargrow, like all the Harrow Research Station apricot series scores high on disease resistance, will take fluctuating winter temperatures well and blooms relatively late, the most reliable solution to apricot flowers being susceptible to early spring frosts.

Fruit: When ripe, the medium sized apricot has bright orange, red blushed luminous skin and an exceptional flavour and texture.
Use: Fresh eating, preserve cooked with sugar and drying.
Hardiness: Zone 4.
Ripening: Harvest in mid August.
Pollination: Semi fertile, plant in pairs.
Predominant characteristic: Late blooming apricot.
