Regale Heirloom Chinese Trumpet Lily

A legendary lilium variety native to western China and introduced to American gardens in 1905. This heirloom treasure produces magnificent 6" to 8" trumpet shaped flowers with pristine white petals, butter yellow throats, and a striking green starburst centre. Burgundy-tinged buds unfurl into delicately fragrant blooms adorned with elegant, long filaments and luminous green ridges on the exterior. The slightly recurved petals showcase a feathered burgundy reverse, creating exceptional visual depth.

The Trumpet lily division includes Asiatic lilium species, their interspecific hybrids and Aurelian L. Henry crossbreeds. The flowers are trumpet shaped, long and conical, facing outwards and downwards, blooming in mid to late summer. Trumpet lilies are mostly strongly fragrant especially night fragrant.
Excellent cut flower crop. 
Plant in full sun to part shade. 


Hardy down to USDA zone 3.
