Selected as most typical and normal type of the sour orange. Referred to as the Standard sour in rootstock experiment and elsewhere. Fruit is a typical sour orange.

Rootstocks of accession:  Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange.

Season of ripeness at Riverside, California:  January to March.
