Tasty Red® Columnar Apple

Tasty Red® is a European apple variety developed by Dr. Jaroslav Tupy of the Czech Republic for the the Urban Apple® series, scab and mildew resistant varieties suited for limited space. This firm, juicy apple turns bright red when fully ripe, they can be enjoyed fresh or baked in a pie. The trees of this will seldom grow taller than 3m/ 10’ and can be kept fruiting at less than 1m/ 3’ wide by pruning.
Harvest mid September.
Hardy down to zone 4.
