Afourer is a late-season harvest citrus that yields exceptionally sweet fruit. Often marketed under brand names like Cuties or Halos, this tangor, a mandarin and orange hybrid, is distinguished by its deep orange skin and nearly seedless flesh. A rich, aromatic flavour and high juice content make it excellent for fresh eating or juicing. The thin, smooth rind is typically easy to peel, though it may be tighter than some other mandarin varieties.
