This new strawberry plant named Fragaria ananassa SB_14_028-025 is primarily particularly well suited to subtropical climates like the growing conditions of West Central Florida but can thrive in diverse conditions worldwide. The strawberry plants, developed in Hillsborough County, Florida by Strawberry Sciences, LLC, are primarily characterized by their achenes typically set even with or just below the surface of the fruit, low vigour habit, high marketable yield, early first flowering and fruiting time, and very large berry size. The 025 strawberry variety, considered a premium short day cultivar, is known for high yields and strong disease resistance.The plants begin flowering in early to mid October, with the first fruits appearing in mid November, offering a prolonged harvest season from November to March in southern states.
