Crane Feather King Ornamental Kale

Crane Feather King is an F1 hybrid ornamental kale bred for winter cut flower arrangements. Deeply fringed, silvery-grey outer leaves frame a stunning rosette interior that transforms to creamy white with pink blush when exposed to cold. Plants grow as single, upright stems reaching 50–90cm tall. Sow seeds in mid to late summer and transplant seedlings with row cover protection. Use flower netting to maintain straight stems. Ready for cutting in 90–120 days. Tight spacing promotes height; remove lower leaves once plants reach 25cm to encourage thinner, more elegant stems ideal for floral design.
