Lavender Lady Gomphrena

 Lavender Lady, also known as Common Globe Amaranth, produces spherical lavender flowers that resemble clover blooms from summer through fall. This heat and drought-tolerant annual reaches 70cm (28") tall, making it an excellent choice for cut flowers in both fresh and dried arrangements. Low maintenance and long-blooming, it fills the flowering gap during hot, dry periods perfectly. Gomphrena is also valued medicinally and brews into a subtly sweet tea. Heat and drought tolerant. Pinch back seedlings at 15cm (6") to encourage bushier growth. Taller varieties may need support.
