Matilda Pole Bean

Matilda is a heavily productive German pole bean variety that delivers harvest after harvest throughout the season. The vigorous plants produce round, straight pods averaging 15cm (6") long, each with a distinctive hook at the end. Sweet and mild in flavour, these pods offer excellent crunch and taste whether eaten raw, cooked, or pickled. They also blanch and freeze beautifully for winter storage. Keep plants well-picked to encourage continuous production from early season through fall.
