Hydrangea paniculata NCHP1 Puffer Fish

Hydrangea paniculata, native to the far east and south of the Asia continent, is a deciduous shrub or small tree that grows in sparse forests and thickets on valleys and mountain slopes. Large conical panicles of white fertile flowers together with white sterile flowers are borne in summer, emerging green to create a two toned effect and age to a green tint in the fall. Prune panicled hydrangea in spring to obtain larger flower heads.
