Broccoli raab, also called rapini, is grown for its unopened flower buds and tender stems. Though related to turnips rather than broccoli, it shares a similar flavour with an appealing hint of bitterness. Sorrento produces uniform dark green florets approximately 5cm in diameter and is the fastest rapini variety to mature. Harvest the tender stems with leaves and unopened buds for a reliable, nutritious addition to your kitchen or market garden. Plant in mid to late summer for cool weather harvests extending well into winter. Plants reach approximately 78cm tall.
Average Seeds Per Gram: 609.
