Winecrisp™ Apple

Winecrisp™ is one of the best storage apples. The tree has formidable disease resistance, is precocious and productive, so aggressive hand thinning is recommended to maintain fruit size and annual bearing. This apple cultivar was developed by the joint research efforts of Illinois, New Jersey, and Indiana universities.

Flavor: Crisp, rock hard, cream coloured flesh that has twangy hints of citrus to offset its sweetness.
Fruit: Skin with a deep purple red matte finish enhanced with a fine network of russeting.
