Sugar Baby Organic Watermelon

Sugar Baby Organic Watermelon, a beloved heirloom icebox melon has delighted gardeners since 1959. Perfect for compact spaces, Sugar Baby produces small, round watermelons with thin, hard rinds that stripe dramatically as they mature. The sweet, firm flesh displays a beautiful orange-red color with small, apple-like seeds.
Grow along the ground or train up a trellis. Round fruits reach about 7 inches in diameter.
For best results, maximize heat with a cloche, greenhouse, or raised bed. Use rich, fertile soil and maintain even moisture throughout the growing season.
