Queensland Blue Pumpkin

C. maxima: Striking blue, flattened, highly ribbed pumpkins that average 10-20 lbs each. The flesh is golden and very sweet, with a flavour that lasts for months in storage. This old Australian heirloom arrived in America in 1932 and boasts exceptional keeping power comparable to a Hubbard squash.
Let fruits mature fully on the vine until foliage begins to die back. Wipe the outside of each fruit with a weak bleach solution to kill bacteria and promote storage longevity. Use any nicked or cut fruits immediately, as they won't store as well.

Matures in 110-120 days.
