Egyptian Walking Tree Onion

Onion sets are produced on leaf tips in late summer, becoming heavy enough to tip the leaf to the ground. As sets root, the cycle is repeated and the onion continues to 'walk'. Harvest bulbs from the ground (like regular onions) to the onion sets themselves and everything in between. Top-setting onions.
