Shahani Red Pigmented Navel Orange Budwood

Citrus sinensis L.

The fruit is highly pigmented by anthocyanins, has a navel, has few or no seeds, and has a smooth skin. It is thus more consistent with a mutation of a navel orange than with a blood orange. The fruit from inside the tree that do not get much sunlight have less red.

Rootstocks of accession:  Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange.
