Sparkle has been known for flavourful, high quality, attractive fruit for over 60 years. The plant is native to the United States and was first discovered in the state of Florida. An extremely vigorous strawberry variety, Sparkle is an excellent choice for pick your own operations and home gardeners in northern climates. The best crops of tasty, medium sized berries are obtained by not allowing the bed to become too thick. The sparkly, glittery strawberries are excellent for making jam and freezing. Hardy to USDA zones 3 to 8.
