Hellebore orientalis White Lady Spotted

Hellebores are particularly valued by gardeners in USDA zones 4 to 8 for their frost resistance. Many hellebore species are robust evergreen plants. Helleborus will reliably flower yearly in the depths of winter or in early spring in the northern hemisphere with the sepals holding onto the plants sometimes for months.
Shade tolerant, Lenten roses are excellent for adding early colour to shady herbaceous borders, areas between deciduous shrubs and under trees.
These plants are poisonous if ingested in large quantities, the reason why they are left alone by deer and rabbits.
