Santo Cilantro is a versatile, bolt-resistant variety perfect for continuous harvests throughout the growing season. Direct sow short rows every other week from spring through late summer for a steady supply of fresh leaves. This fast-growing herb thrives in partial shade and tolerates cool temperatures well; with cloche protection, it even overwinters. Harvest tender leaves for cooking, or let plants flower to collect mature seeds (coriander) for culinary use. The edible taproot is prized in Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Cilantro flowers attract beneficial insects like lacewings and lady beetles. Grows to 50cm tall. Easy to cultivate and highly productive.
