Declaration Lilac

Syringa x hyacinthiflora 'Declaration' features larger panicles of sweet smelling, deep purple to reddish purple blooms on an upright, sturdy shrub. The deep green leaves make a fantastic backdrop for perennials and roses later in the season. In autumn, dramatic purple to burgundy fall colour covers the shrub. Incredibly cold hardy plant, tolerating winters down to arctic zones. 

Mature plant height x spread: 6' x 8'.

Hardy to zones: 2 to 7.
