The tree grows well to a large size with big leaves and drooping branches. The fruit is large and pear-shaped with a slightly flattened bottom and has a slightly pebbled, thick, yellow rind. The flesh is light yellow, ricey in texture but juicy. The flavor is good, but the fruits are seedy. Reinking fruits mature early and holds fairly well on the tree.
A medium-large pummelo; pyriform, medium yellow, slightly rough rind. Fruits are flattened on bottom, more bell-shaped than true pyriform. Moderately thick rind; small pithy core, very seedy, flesh light yellow, somewhat ricey in appearance but juicy. Good flavor, slightly tart.
Rootstocks of accession: Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange.
Season of ripeness at Riverside, California: December to February.
