White Satin F1 Carrot

Luminous white roots grow to 25cm (10") long with strong, 40-45cm (16-18") green tops. The slightly tapered roots offer a unique crisp texture and strong carrot flavour. White Satin are handsome Danvers type roots that store well and juice exceptionally. Roast as part of a winter meal with other coloured carrots or enjoy on their own. The ancestral wild carrot is believed to have had white roots, and this modern hybrid has been bred for uniformity and outstanding flavour. At first glance, neighbours may mistake them for parsnips but these are distinctly white carrots.

Seeds may be coated with an inert, organically certified layer that minimizes clumping in storage and seed sowing machines. The coating is approved by organic certifiers in Canada, the US, EU, and Japan.
