Sweet Sixteen Apple

Sweet Sixteen, with parents Frostbite and Northern Spy, is another hardy, dependable apple variety from the University of Minnesota showing some scab and fireblight resistance.

Fruit: Large red striped apple with crisp, cream coloured, aromatic flesh.

Use: Superb eaten straight off the tree, highly valued as a pie and sauce apple.
