Pehrson #4 Valencia Orange Budwood

Citrus sinensis.

A bud selection of Valencia. This is one of a group of 8 Valencia clones selected by University of California Cooperative Extension Specialist Emeritus John Pehrson in the 1950s or 1960s. This accession and Pehrson #4 were selected as being the most promising.

Rootstocks of accession:  Carrizo citrange, Citrus macrophylla.

Season of ripeness at Riverside, California:  February to April.
