Sea Holly Eryngium planum

 Eryngium planum. Sea Holly is a striking drought-tolerant perennial with bluish-green, spiny foliage accented by silvery veins. It produces delicate blue flowers from June to September, creating stunning contrast in garden beds and thriving in sandy, well-drained soil. This hardy plant forms attractive clumps and reaches 50cm tall. Direct sow seeds in autumn, or stratify indoors for three weeks before spring planting.
