Colección: Borage
Borago officinalis, or starflower, is a self seeding annual from the Mediterranean region. In temperate climates, its flowering season is relatively long, from June to September. In milder climates, borage blooms continuously for most of the year and can be invasive. Some parts of the plant are edible and its seeds provide oil. Multiple flowers bloom simultaneously to form large floral displays. The flowers are most often genetically dominantly blue, although pink flowers are sometimes observed. White-flowered types are also cultivated.
