Black Beauty Summer Squash

Large bush plants grow semi-upright and open, loaded with glossy dark green fruits featuring firm creamy white flesh and fine flavour. Plants produce very early and prolifically over an extended season. Best harvested under 20cm (8 inches) long for optimal tenderness. First introduced to American market growers in the 1920s, it became commercially available as seed from the 1930s onward. This variety is ideal for freezing, making it a practical choice for preserving your harvest.
