Excalibur Red Lime Hybrid Budwood

Citrus limonia.

An acid, lime like fruit called “red lime.” Sold as a dooryard fruit, and it is very much appreciated by local chefs and make a special sorbet. The skin is thin and edible. A productive tree, everbearing.

Rootstocks of accession: Yuma Ponderosa lemon.

Season of ripeness in the Riverside climate and latitude: January to March.
