Huanglongbing (HLB), or citrus greening, is a, if not the, most devastating bacterial disease of citrus trees worldwide, caused by Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus and vectored by the Asian citrus psyllid.

Fairgrow nursery pots, made of FSC certified natural rubber, allow plants propagated by layering, marcotting, grafting and budding and large plants needing potting up to establish a stronger root system. As soon as the roots reach the openings on the sides of the posts and are exposed to light, longitudinal root growth stops via air pruning and the plant develops a fibrous root system which absorbs water and nutrients more effectively, allowing quicker plant establishment.
The flexible rubber pots are very easily removed when the plant is ready to be planted in the ground, reducing root damage and plant transplant shock.
