Paeonia Lactiflora Joker

Peonies are a garden staple in very cold winter climates, they are drought tolerant, deer resistant and very low maintenance plants requiring no pruning. Peony takes a few years to establish when moved however is a long lived plant and will reliably produce increasing numbers of enormous blooms come springtime every year. 
Paeoniaceae make excellent cut flowers.
This Paeonia cultivar produces 6’’ wide double blooms with picotee edges early in the season borne on strong stems.
Plant in well drained soil and full sun. 
Hardy to zone 2.
