Medallion™ Short Day Strawberry

Medallion is a high quality strawberry variety released out of the University of Florida. The medium red coloured, glossy, and moderately firm Medallion strawberries offer intense flavour. The growth pattern of Medallion is more compact with low runner production, but require more nutrients for optimum yields. The plants need a heavier wet soil composition, a dry non organic soil mixture will cause difficulties in growing. Medallion is susceptible to charcoal rot, provide the requisite care as needed. The Florida Medallion strawberry is well suited for early fall planting.
