Taunus F1 Beet

Taunus is an improved cylindrical beet perfect for slicing at full size or harvesting as baby fingerling beets. The highly uniform roots feature deep purple flesh, minimal zoning, and excellent crack resistance. Growing to about 30cm (12"), this hybrid variety produces smooth, early, uniform plants with tasty edible tops. Ideal for slicing, pickling, and chipping. Direct sow after the last frost date in rows, repeating every two to three weeks for continuous harvest. Seeds are coated with an inert, organically certified layer that reduces clumping during storage and machine sowing. Coating approved by organic certifiers in Canada, the US, EU, and Japan.
