The MidiVision allows for a combination of selection and transplanting. The MidiVision is a selection system that allows you to check a tray from the top for the presence of sufficient green leaves. It does so with its in house developed built in imaging system.

Plant selection, transplantation and potting up automation machine designed for plug trays.

When plants are in fed into the machine, the imaging system checks the trays from above. For this to be effective, plants should not be too large and should not cover the cells of neighboring plants. According to the selection result, plant grippers will only pick up classified plants. Empty plugs will remain in the tray.

By using the imaging system, the number of transplanted plants per step is now dynamic. As a result, the destination conveyor belt adapts according to the number of transplanted plants.
