Paeonia Itoh Bartzella

Paeonia Itoh are very unique hybrids resulting from a cross between a herbaceous and suffruticosa peony. They have the comparatively quicker growth habit of garden peonies with amazing huge blooms in a wide array of colours from the Japanese tree peony parentage.
Peonies require a few years to established after they are moved before setting bloom.
Excellent cut flowers are borne on strong stems.
This Paeonia cultivar produces 9’’ double blooms bearing up to 50 flowers on a single plant in a season. Mid season blooming time.
Plant in well drained soil and full sun to part shade.
