Cara Cara Sweet Orange Plant

The red fleshed navel orange is an early to midseason citrus cultivar noted for its pinkish to reddish orange flesh. The medium sized fruit is seedless, sweet and low in acid. It is characterized by little to no pith and easy, clean separation from the rind. The pigmentation comes from carotenoids, not anthocyanin like in blood oranges.

Hardiness: Down to zone 8. Protect below 28 ºF.
