Dwarf Sunspot Sunflower

Helianthus annuus: Dwarf Sunspot sunflower seeds produce stout plants that rarely grow taller than 60cm (24") and bloom single, enormous flowers up to 30cm (12"). Dwarf Sunspot makes a very striking container plant, but requires consistent moisture and a fairly heavy base so that it doesn't get top heavy. The giant sunflowers on such relatively short plants look dramatic. Direct sow sunflower seeds from late spring and enjoy their spectacular flowers from mid-summer to the end of the season. The long lasting flowers produce copious seeds which help feed wild birds.
