Fukushu Kumquat Plant

Citrus japonica 'Fukushu', or Citrus obovata is a productive tree yielding unique bell-shaped fruit and glossy, rounder leaves relative to kumquat varieties. A natural hybrid from Japan. Sweet, thin rind and less acidic flesh, making it one of the most palatable varieties for fresh eating. Small, compact, and essentially thornless tree with a spreading growth habit. Larger than standard kumquats, the entire fruit is edible. Intensely fragrant white blossoms appear in summer.
