Lane Late Navel Orange Plant

Citrus sinensis 'Lane Late' is a premier late maturing citrus variety. Extends the navel orange harvest season into late spring and summer, long after standard varieties like the Washington Navel have finished. Bears medium-to-large, seedless fruit with a smooth, easy-to-peel rind and a small navel. Ripens late winter through early summer. The sweet, low-acid flesh remains juicy even when left on the tree for extended periods. 

Needs deep, regular watering, especially while establishing. Allow the top 2 to 4 inches of soil to dry out between sessions to prevent root rot.

Hardiness: Down to zone 8. Protect below 28ºF.
