This is a selection of 'Thomson Improved'. 'Thomson Improved' selections in general are up to 14 days earlier than 'Washington' navel, but fruit color, quality, and yield, as well as tree vigor, are inferior to 'Washington' navel.

Rootstocks of accession:  Carrizo citrange.

Season of ripeness at Riverside, California:  November to January.
