Advanced filtration for irrigation water sources containing high levels of debris, organic matter and algae. Effective with all water sources including reservoirs, canals, rivers, wells, and treated effluent water.

Water enters the filter via an inlet and spreads equally on the media. Dirt particles and organic matter is trapped on and in the media. Water passes through the media and flows out via the filter elements free of dirt.
The cleaning backwash process is carried out by shutting off the inlet of the filter with a 3-way backwash valve and turning open the flush water outlet.

Stainless steel filter body with passivation finish.
Passivation is a non-electrolytic finishing process that makes stainless steel more rust-resistant. The passivation process typically uses nitric or citric acid to remove free iron from the surface. This results an inert, protective oxide layer that is less likely to chemically react with air and cause corrosion.
A slotted pipe underdrain design, made of injection molded polypropylene, covers the entire diameter of the media tank to provide the most uniform lifting of the sand bed during cleaning mode, ensuring a clean sand bed after every cycle.
Only one layer of sand medium is necessary.
Reliable one way valve, with low head loss, ensures lowest pressure loss through the valve in both filtration and cleaning modes.
Water conservation with a highly efficient transition cleaning operation.
