Iris Sibirica Butter and Sugar

Iris Sibirica is an extensively bred hardy iris species with multiflorous branched stems that likes damp soil and full sun but does not like prolonged periods in standing water, some shade is best in arid areas. Siberian flag iris does not like disturbance and is divided and propagated in mid summer to early autumn once the centre of the rhizomatous clump dries out. Seeds are direct sown in autumn with careful transplanting if required.
