Citrus neo-aurantium.
Citrus variety from Japan. Reported to be a graft hybrid of C. obovoidea + Satsuma.
Obovata (grapefruit-like) on outside, satsuma on the inside.
External appearance is like a grapefruit with yellow rind splotched with green. Medium rind thickness, moderately seedy. Flesh is bright orange. Tender, melting, very juicy; pleasant, mild flavour.
Rootstocks of accession: Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange.
