Paeonia Tenuifolia Itoba Fern Leaf Peony

Tenuifolia or fern leaf peonies very rare hybrids resulting from a cross between a herbaceous and tree peony.
A garden staple in very cold winter climates, peonies are drought tolerant, deer resistant and very low maintenance plants requiring no pruning. The peony takes a few years to establish when moved however is a long lived plant and will reliably produce increasing numbers of enormous blooms come springtime every year. 
Paeoniaceae make excellent cut flowers.
This Paeonia cultivar produces unique lacy foliage and single blooms.
Plant in well drained soil and full sun. 
Hardy to zone 2.
