Micro Irrigation

Drip irrigation is a form of localized, low volume, low flow precision micro irrigation where the use of a piped network is employed to distribute water under low pressure, applying timely small discharges to each plant with the aim of minimizing both runoff and evaporation, and can be completely automated.
Small emitters deliver water to the plants in the form of droplets, often directly to the root zone, on the surface or subsurface of the soil or drips from a pipe attached to a trellis-like line in permanent or seasonal installations.
Dissolved mineral nutrients and liquid fertilizers may also be delivered to plants via a trickle irrigation infrastructure where fertigation needs to be employed.
